The rising spate of murders and kidnapping at the time was a cause for national concern, a group of concerned citizens organised what was one of the largest rallies through the streets of Port of Spain called "The Death March" People from all quarters joined in to say that the people had had enough including a very colourful band of Drag Queens whose chant was "Enough is enough, Keep it Real!" and so this song was born.
